UPDATE ON
NCQLP & IESNA Centennial Celebration Update

Come and learn about the latest information on the
National Council on the Qualifications of Lighting Professionals or NCQLP
and LC Certifications as well as an update on the upcoming IESNA
Centennial Celebration. January 2006 will mark the centennial for
the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. Please join
us to find out what the IESNA is planning for this historical
benchmark. We will also find out what our roles as members will be
as we prepare for this celebration. Hope to see you there!

Scott is an Industrial Education graduate of Iowa State University. Since
1981, he has been responsible for the specification and sales of custom
commercial decorative luminaires for Winona Lighting in Texas and is
currently a Regional Manager.
Mr. Scott, an Illuminating Engineering Society of
North America (IESNA) member since 1983, has been President of the North
Texas Section, Regional Vice President/Director for the Southwestern
Region, and an IESNA Director, 1996-99. He is a member of several IESNA
Committees, serves on the Southwestern Regional Executive Committee and
has represented the IESNA on the National Council on Qualifications for
the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) Board 2000-01.
As an NCQLP volunteer, Mr. Scott is a past
President (2001) of the NCQLP and the first chair of the Recertification
Committee. He is currently serving on the NCQLP Board as Past President
and also chairs the NCQLP Lightfair Task Force. He has been Lighting
Certified (LC) since 1998 and recertified in 2001.
Mr. Scott also serves as a member of the Texas
Christian University Interior Design Advisory Board.
