IIDA 2005 … Looking for Entries 

The International Illumination Design Awards program of the IESNA provides a unique opportunity for public recognition of professionalism, ingenuity and originality in lighting design. 

There are four awards created to recognize outstanding lighting designs.  They are:

·        Edwin F. Guth Memorial Award for Interior Lighting Design

·        Paul Waterbury Award for Outdoor Lighting Design

·        Aileen Page Cutler Memorial Award for Residential Lighting Design

·        The Energy and Environmental Design Award for advanced energy-saving strategies and environmentally responsible solutions in lighting design, sponsored by Osram Sylvania

The awards presentation will be held January 25, 2005 at the Houston City Club.  Other dates are:

Entries due --- January 10, 2005

Judging --- January 19, 2005

Starting this year photographs may be submitted in digital format or 35mm slides.  If submitting in digital format the minimum requirement is 5 megapixels and must be on a CD.
