Lighting ...the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Presenter:  Jim Haley, ME

Representing the International Dark Skies Association

Jim will focus on proper lighting design for safety, security, and efficiency.  Six years ago, Jim learned that lighting could be more efficient and provide more security than lighting that destroys the night sky.  Since then, he has worked with lighting companies, public officials, and the George Observatory to facilitate the use of next generation lighting.
