The IES Houston Section invites you to our
 May Luncheon Meeting

An Overview of Advanced Daylighting Technologies

Dr. Liliana Beltran
Texas A & M University

Conventional daylighting design components can provide adequate daylight in the perimeter of buildings (within 15' of windows or skylights).  To provide daylight in a larger fraction of the building area requires the use of advanced daylighting technologies to deliver light to building locations beyond the perimeter zone.  In this talk will be presented several approaches and systems for introducing daylight and sunlight deeper within buildings.
