Event Lighting Methods for Architecture

PRESENTER:  MALCOLM HACKNEY

Bright Star will present theatrical lighting equipment and explain how it may be used in architectural applications. The talk will be headed by Malcolm Hackney who founded Bright Star in 1986.  Today Bright Star has 30 employees and is a major provider of decorative and stage lighting as well as audio, video and truss structures for Houston’s corporate and social events.  Malcolm is a graduate of the University of Houston, is married with one child.  

Joining Malcolm will be Rob Tegtmeier of Edwin Jones Company who will present the Electronic Theater Controls’ PAR, Ellipsoidal and LED fixtures.
