Chris has been a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Nevada for the past 15 years.  Chris joined forces with Engineered Tax Services in 2010 to add his expertise to the growing ETS marketplace.  Over the past decade, ETS has evolved to over 100+ employees and the Nation’s Leader in energy tax and related engineered tax benefits field which include cost segregation, repair & maintenance tax studies, research & development tax credits, IC Disk, energy benchmarking and energy star certification.

Engineered Tax Services is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE sponsors. ETS is a licensed engineering firm with experience in energy tax accreditation, certification for EPAct which yields substantial tax deductions.  ETS is fully Circular 230 compliant, with over 100 years of combined experience in energy modeling.  ETS's services also include Abandonment Studies, Insurance Appraisals, Historical Tax Credits, Reserve Studies and Green Leasing.  Since the inception of the EPAct of 2005, ETS has performed more than 10,000 Section 179D Energy Tax Studies, working closely with both the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Executive Leadership, the United States Green Building Council Executive Leadership, and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), to give clarity and awareness to the engineering processes involved in certification of public and private buildings and to also bring awareness to this tax benefit on a nationwide scale.

Handling more than 100 certifications every month, ETS fully understands the state tax benefit and federal certification process with precise documentation which meets and exceeds the standards required by the Department of Energy and the IRS and consistently stands up to the toughest scrutiny, with full insurance by Lloyds of London, on all reports.  ETS's in-house teams of ASHRAE-certified engineers are disciplined in structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering, allowing ETS to be uniquely positioned to have expertise in all facets of modeling.  The ETS engagement team includes multi-disciplinary professionals such as Professional Engineers (PE), LEED Accredited Professionals (AP), Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and architectural professionals.  Additionally, ETS's advisory board includes a team of ten of the top 100 CPA's in the country.
