This presentation discusses changes to the scope of lighting needs within an acute care hospital patient room, reasons for these changes, how to select and specify lighting based upon today's needs, and a comparison of the lighting performance of bed lights that are commonly accepted to be "equivalents" in the industry.

Holly English recently joined Healthcare Lighting as Director of Sales & Marketing.  In her previous 10-year tenure as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Weber Knapp Company, she worked with architects and engineers in the specification of products for commercial building applications.  Holly is an alumnus of Penn State, earning an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and returning recently to earn a Master of Business Administration degree with focus on marketing.
